Nilesh's career is a study in refusing to stop at one system. It began with a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University, followed by a Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Rather than settle there, he pursued the American qualification — Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the Washington State Board of Accountancy — and then added a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from ACCA London, along with a post-qualification in Information Systems Audit.
Over more than 30 years, that stack of qualifications has grown into a practice spanning accountancy, taxation, transfer pricing regulation, international taxation, audits, and capital markets, across both India and the U.S., serving clients in India, the USA, Singapore, the UAE, the UK, and Canada.
His capital markets experience includes steering three IPOs in India from planning through listing, giving him a rare vantage point on how regulatory, accounting, and tax considerations intersect at critical inflection points for growing companies. On the international tax front, he has led transfer pricing audits and personally represented clients before Indian tax authorities, navigating complex assessments and disputes on their behalf. He also advises on structuring for cross-border transactions, helping businesses and individuals design tax-efficient, compliant frameworks that hold up across jurisdictions.
That breadth of experience is the vision he built XQUBE around: management stays focused on growing their ventures, while tax planning, compliance, and bookkeeping run quietly and expertly in the background, handled by people who have already solved these problems many times over.
“My work is measured one way: did the client’s net worth grow because they could focus on their business while we carried the rest?”
